The Sunstate Core Values represent the guiding principles and beliefs that have created our distinct business culture. Although advocated and espoused verbally by Mike in the early years, by the late 1990’s, the rapid geographic expansion required Sunstate to put those Core Values in writing to spread the word about what has made Sunstate such a successful company. They are posted in every branch and are a constant focus of teaching and coaching, no matter what level or position an employee is in.
Our people come first. Focus on their needs and they will take care of quality, service, and customer needs.
Never commit to anything without follow through (it starts at the top).
Don't accept something because that is the way it has always been done. Challenge the company, as well as yourself, to change and improve. Suggest a better way.
Make decisions and grow from mistakes.
Find solutions, not fault. Long-term relationships with employees, customers and suppliers are essential to our success. Communication is the key.
If you are not enjoying yourself and having fun - determine the reason. Make every attempt to change what you can. Give us the opportunity to change what we can. If this fails, make a change.
We place the utmost value on your well-being. No job is so important that we should not take the time to perform the work safely.
